Service boats registered with the Port of Fujairah are strictly prohibited from providing services to vessels at the Khorfakkan or Kalba anchorage areas.
This prohibition extends to slop barges, lube oil barges, water barges and even diving support vessels, excluding bunker barges.
This regulation will come into force on 20 October 2023.
Companies found to be in violation of the aforementioned regulation will face stringent consequences, potentially leading the termination of the Marine Charge & Pilotage Exemption licenses.
