The survey vessel HORIZON NOMAD (IMO 9528548) will conduct geophysical and environmental seabed survey operations within the area near Ras Laffan Port. The scheduled period for these operations is from January 20, 2024, to February 20, 2024.
The following coordinates (WGS84) delineate these areas:
1) 26 15.763 N / 51 46.631 E
2) 26 13.370 N / 52 04.031 E
3) 25 31.262 N / 51 56.927 E
4) 25 34.198 N / 51 39.019 E
All vessels, fishermen, and mariners are requested to navigate cautiously and maintain a sharp lookout for the Survey Vessel Horizon Nomad. During seabed survey operations, the survey vessel will be restricted in its ability to maneuver. All vessels are requested to give a wide berth, with a minimum of 0.5 Nautical miles CPA (Closest Point of Approach).
Please maintain a constant listening watch on VHF Channel 16/12.
