From 1 April to 30 June, marine soil investigation works will be carried out 24 hours daily -including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 17.945'N / 103° 41.747'E
2) 01° 17.943'N / 103° 41.801'E
3) 01° 17.942'N / 103° 41.854'E
4) 01° 17.940'N / 103° 41.908'E
5) 01° 17.939'N / 103° 41.962'E
As advised in the Maritime and Port Authority off Singapore Port Marine Notice No.22 of 2024, the soil investigation work will be carried out from the jack-up platform, held in position by 4 jack-up legs.
The platform, with the safety boat in attendance, will have circular safety working zone of 30 meters radius centered at the platform.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
