For approximately two months, marine site investigation works involving drilling of ground investigation boreholes will be carried out in the following locations (WGS 84 Datum):
(A) 22° 26.794’N 114° 11.577’E
(B) 22° 26.545’N 114° 11.871’E
(C) 22° 26.337’N 114° 12.127’E
(D) 22° 26.101’N 114° 12.423’E
(E) 22° 25.855’N 114° 12.723’E
The works will be carried out by two jack-up barges, one flat top barge and one dumb lighter. Three tugs will provide assistance. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
A working area of approximately 50 metres around each barge and lighter will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the barge and lighter. Yellow flashing lights will be installed at the four corners of the jack-up barges to indicate their positions.
The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works locations outside the hours of work.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
