Recovery of docking gates is being carried out off West Samulun until 19 April 2024.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.98 of 2023, the work is being conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - at the following positions (WGS 84 Datum):
1 01° 18.050'N / 103° 41.960'E
2 01° 18.050'N / 103° 42.070'E
3 01° 17.940'N / 103° 42.070'E
4 01° 17.970'N / 103° 41.960'E
The recovery of docking gates is being carried out by crane barge and supported by tug boat.
Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control for assistance, if required.
