From 19 to 29 January, data collection is being carried our off Tuas Extension, at the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
A) 01⁰ 12.898’N / 103⁰ 37.352’E
B) 01⁰ 12.628’N / 103⁰ 38.401’E
C) 01⁰ 12.320’N / 103⁰ 37.300’E
D) 01⁰ 12.600’N / 103⁰ 37.300’E
Centre Anchor) 01⁰ 12.550’N / 103⁰ 37.900’E
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.09 of 2023 dated 19 January 2023, the work is being conducted between 0630 and 1900 hours daily, including Sundays.
A barge will be deployed at the centre anchor area by the tug boat to carry out tests and data collection.
A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft to keep clear of the area during working hours.
Craft involved in the work will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong control for assistance, if required.
