Any foreign crew joining a vessel in Indonesia must hold Visa index B211A. The joiner does not need to go to the Indonesian Embassy to apply for visa during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Andhika GAC (AGAC) will apply for an E-visa index B211A (Visit Visa) on the online immigration system, enabling joiners to fly to Indonesia. Processing of the E-Visa takes approximately 5 working days or express process approximately 1 working day (IAGW).
Once Foreign crew arrive at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, the flow is:
i. Crew will be PCR tested and should wait until the result available (approximately 2-3 hours IAGW);
ii. Inspection of Immigration documents and Customs documents;
iii. Baggage collection and baggage disinfection;
iv. Pick-up and drop-off directly to the hotel, lodging accommodation, or place of residence - in case will be quarantined. Foreign Travelers who have received the 2nd or 3rd dose of vaccine at least 14 days before departure are allowed to continue the journey as above flow.
