NSW Ports will continue the 1% rebate on wharfage charges, effective from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.
This rebate is available to container shipping line customers who provide manifests electronically with the harmonised code commodity description completed, and make payment of invoices in accordance with payment terms as set out in the Schedule of Port Charges for Port Botany.
To qualify for the rebate, manifests must include valid 6-digit harmonised codes as per the Australian Harmonised Export Commodity Classification (AHECC) maintained by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
