For approximately six and a half months, marine works involving establishment of temporary working platforms, and construction of pile caps, piers and decks will be carried out within the following Works Areas:
WORKS AREA 1
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22° 19.035’N 113° 56.636’E
(B) 22° 19.017’N 113° 56.732’E
(C) 22° 18.921’N 113° 56.712’E
(D) 22° 18.941’N 113° 56.607’E
WORKS AREA 2
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (H) and the adjacent shoreline:
(E) 22° 18.902’N 113° 56.814’E
(F) 22° 18.916’N 113° 56.740’E
(G) 22° 19.012’N 113° 56.761’E
(H) 22° 18.994’N 113° 56.858’E
The works will be carried out by a flotilla of vessels including flat top barges, dumb lighters and derrick lighters. Two tugboats and one work boat will provide assistance. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
A working area of approximately 50 metres around each working vessel will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from each working vessel.
A temporary navigation channel with a width of about 50 metres and vertical clearance of 14 metres above sea level will be established between the two works areas. The channel will be marked by lateral light buoys.
The particulars of the buoys are as follows:
I) Green lateral light buoys at co-ordinates (B) and (C):

II) Red lateral light buoys at co-ordinates (F) and (G):

Silt curtains extending from the sea surface to the seabed will be established within the works areas. The silt curtain is a large piece of netting used to contain mud and sediments. Yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the extent of the silt curtains.
The hours of work will be from 0700 to 2300 hours including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works areas outside the hours of work.
Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the works areas at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the areas.
