EDB’s approval must be sought before accepting any vessel arriving from or transiting through Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa in the past 14 days, into EDB managed shipyards/process terminals/Marine & Process waterfront facilities. These vessels must also comply with Updated Mandatory Precautionary Measures dated 29 October 2021.
EDB managed Shipyards/process terminals/Marine & Process waterfront facilities are to work with ship agents, and email [email protected] with the header “EDB’s Approval required: Acceptance of Ships arriving from Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa”. EDB managed shipyards/process terminals/Marine & Process waterfront facilities are not allowed to accept any vessel If the vessel had either conducted contact operations in the mentioned 3 African countries or newly signed on crew with travel history to the listed 7 African countries in the past 14 days.
EDB managed Process terminals must continue to conduct contactless operations or contactless operations with segregation regardless of the ship’s last port of call. These vessels must also conduct contactless operations in any port of call in the past 14 days prior entering Singapore.
This advisory will be in force until the next update of border measures for Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe is announced in Safe Travel website.
