22 Jul 2021 / United Kingdom
New rules have come into force for international travel to the UK from 19 July, including how arrivals from countries on the ‘Amber’ list can avoid having to self-isolate.
Individuals who have been fully vaccinated in the UK are exempt from the requirement to self-isolate after arrival. To qualify for exemption, they must:
This exemption applies only for individuals fully vaccinated in the UK, not for those who received the vaccination in other countries.
Further, the exemption does not apply for those fully vaccinated by the NHS who have been in France in the previous 10 days.
Those who have not been fully vaccinated in the UK, including those vaccinated in another country must follow the rules for each individual nation relating to which country they are arriving from and which home nation they arriving into.
Countries in the Red, Amber and Green lists can be found on the individual government pages for each of the 4 home nations.
